MOVER & MAKER
Baltimore-born, Barcelona-based
Ania Flanigan Peña thinks about life through moving images and moving bodies. She is a student of Irish dance, the theatre arts, drumming, Joseph Pilates, Maria Broom, and cinematography. As the granddaughter of Peruvian and Spanish immigrants, her multicultural identity has inspired her to open our collective imagination of what could be, and her work strives to critique the empire of Western philosophies
through the eyes of a curious, world-inspired, bilingual, genZ, woman.
